There is a capital allocation failure slowing our response to the climate crisis. Only ~ 16% of climate finance needs are currently being met. At the same time, women (co) led climate ventures receive just a fraction of that funding.

This means diverse, high potential approaches are overlooked. We need a robust capital stack with strong philanthropic catalytic capital to accelerate early-stage innovation, at scale, and with greater Diversity.

The Table is an evergreen philanthropic vehicle, alongside a community of 400+ active capital allocators (VCs, family offices, syndicates and corporates) who share co-investment opportunities. United around one goal: accelerating climate funding for women(co) led ventures.

The community and the philanthropic capital work as one: the community scouts and diligences the opportunities, the catalytic capital accelerates them. Together we are building a capital ecosystem rooted in trust, diversity, and climate outcomes. Enabling everyone to move faster, go bolder, and compound impact over time.

Investors join The Table as a Member

Members bring eligible deals they've committed to invest in: Pre-Seed to Series B, climate-positive, (co) led by a woman with meaningful equity

Deals are shared with the Members. Each conducts their own diligence. Members collaborate and co-invest.

Later stage funds who are part of the community can provide feedback to Founders to help build their growth road map and also have early access to a future diverse pipeline.

An Evergreen Philanthropic Vehicle

The Table is building a £300M catalytic capital vehicle that provides recoverable grants to women (co) led climate ventures. These grants are non-dilutive, unrestricted capital that helps founders grow without giving up equity or taking on debt.

Every grant deployed matches an investment by a community member into a venture brought to The Table. Ensuring philanthropic capital flows only to validated climate innovations.

How does it work

If the venture fails, the grant is forgiven. No debt, no creditor claim.
If the venture grows, a small percentage of revenue (4%) is repaid and recycled into future grants.
£300M in catalytic capital designed to compound over time.

We fund ventures that:

Have a direct and substantial positive climate outcome

Are (co) led by at least one woman with meaningful equity

Ventures must be Pre-Seed to Series A

Were shared by a community member that has committed to the round
